To validate its idea, the Familis team developed a first prototype on Bubble, then pushed the exploration further via Bolt in vibe coding. This approach allows rapid progress, but quickly reveals limitations in terms of robustness, security and scalability.
He then decided to surround himself with an in-house junior developer and called on the DJM lab to secure technical choices and supervise the rise in maturity of the product.
The real challenge is then to transform a moving idea into a solid product: securing technical choices, evaluating the viability of the prototype, defining an evolving architecture and prioritizing developments. The solution must adapt to the realities of home care, while structuring progress in an agile manner, despite limited resources and the uncertainty specific to starting a startup.
We started by analyzing the existing database developed in vibe coding in order to assess its robustness, security and long-term viability. The objective was clear: to identify technical risks and avoid costly mistakes. This phase made it possible to lay solid foundations before any acceleration produced.
After the vibe-coding prototyping phase, the project migrated to custom development in order to guarantee a sustainable and scalable solution. DJM lab acted as a senior technical expert alongside the Familis team. Code review, validation of architecture choices and support from the internal developer made it possible to secure key decisions and to structure a solid technical base, oriented towards quality and scalability.
Beyond tech, the challenge was to provide a reassuring framework. We challenged priorities, helped to clarify the roadmap and structured the progress step by step. The objective: to transform a moving idea into a solid product, without skipping steps.
Our intervention is part of a flexible logic and adapted to the startup reality. DJM lab acts as an integrated external partner, able to adapt to the pace of the project. Agile, human and senior support to allow Familis to move forward with confidence.
