Greentripper

UX/UI audit of a SaaS product

Greentripper has developed a SaaS platform integrating AI, intended for the travel and tourism sector. Since ergonomics were not satisfactory and many features were in the pipeline, the customer called on DJM's UX/UI experts for a detailed audit in order to begin a complete redesign of the various screens.

Client and Project

The objective of Greentripper through its Act4Travel Scanner platform is to help its business customers obtain a clear vision of the carbon footprint of travel. The tool provides a precise and visual analysis of the various elements of travel (transport, accommodation, activities, food and waste). The integration of an artificial intelligence module extracts the various relevant information & allows the tool to calculate the carbon footprint of any travel offer in a few clicks. The objective of the collaboration was to review all flows and to propose a complete redesign of each feature in order to optimize the overall user experience.

The DJM approach

UX audit

The first part of the project was devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the existing solution, with a focus on basic elements such as color contrasts, font use, overall screen layout and smooth navigation. A list of recommendations was provided and a prioritization matrix was created to help the client put the teams' efforts in the right place.

User workflows

The flows of the different types of users were then reviewed concerning the main functionalities of the tool. The main screens have been reworked to avoid all the potential points of friction identified and to increase the level of customer satisfaction.

UI kit

The last step consisted in creating a complete UI kit, intended for Greentripper developers, in order to facilitate further developments. It includes all color and font variables, as well as all the basic components (menu, buttons, maps, filters,...) pre-designed.
