To achieve its vision, Symbiose Innovation needed to transform its platform idea into a first functional product. The objective was to develop an MVP capable of quickly demonstrating the value of the platform, while structuring a realistic and sustainable product in a demanding health context.
Symbiose called on the DJM lab to support it in the structuring, prioritization and development of an MVP, with particular attention paid to technological choices, regulatory constraints and the scalability of the platform.
The main challenge was to make the right choices from the start: identify the functionalities that were really differentiating, ensure a consistent user experience and avoid any technical decisions that could hinder the future evolution of the platform.
We started by conducting an in-depth analysis of needs, clarifying the product vision and prioritizing high added value functionalities in order to define a clear and relevant MVP perimeter for the launch.
We have defined a scalable technological architecture to effectively develop the MVP while preparing for future evolutions of the platform. We also developed the first functional building blocks: expert profiles, solutions, collaborations, networks between experts, messaging and initial recommendation logics.
We monitored progress regularly, with quick adjustments and weekly alignment with the Symbiose Innovation teams in order to integrate feedback and refine product priorities. A feedback and optimization workshop was also organized to evaluate the functionalities delivered and to prepare for the addition of the following ones.
Test sessions users were put in place to challenge the existing version of the product, collect field feedback and adjust the functionalities according to real uses. We then stabilized the platform in order to deliver a functional MVP ready to be deployed to the first users.
